Roles like this don't come around too often, especially out of town! This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Motion & Video Designer who has aspirations to lead, nurture and grow a team/department.
With the moving image playing such a pivotal part in the marketing mix, the opportunity to really make your mark on this agency is immense. You'd have the chance to be involved in crucial creative briefings, offering valuable insight in to the endless potential that motion can bring to integrated marketing campaigns.
They're looking for a leader, someone who can grow and shape the direction of the team, which is made up of a Senior and a Midweight Motion Designer. This person will have their finger on the pulse of the industry, be constantly scoping out new and emerging technologies and always looking for ways to diversify and improve.
Naturally, you'd be involved from the initial concept stage; conceiving ideas and producing storyboards for motion that will turn heads and leave a lasting impression of a brand or service. But what is equally important is having the desire to nurture a team and get the very best out of them through 1-2-1s, appraisals and close mentorship.
Collaboration is key, and on that note you'd have the chance to work closely with a large creative team consisting of art directors, digital designers, developers, copywriters and more. The department is underpinned by a fantastic Creative Services Director who ensures everything runs smoothly.
The role has a salary bracket of between £50k and £60k, and you'd have access to private healthcare, 25 days' holiday, a solid training and development budget and more. The role can be fully remote, but still being withing commutable reach of the office has it's obvious benefits - although there is no obligation to be in the office at all.
