The Role

Reporting to the head of sourcing and working with a strong team of senior buyers and merchandisers, as a junior buyer you will support the development and purchasing of promotional merchandise from a range of European suppliers. It's an ideal role for a junior buying professional who's looking to join a large, global business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the sampling process
  • Sourcing products from the most appropriate suppliers for each brief
  • Produce and provide accurate 'delivered' prices to sales teams
  • Propose products in response to briefs
  • Help to negotiate best prices/payment terms from suppliers.

    The Role
     
    The company is keen to find an outgoing, relationship focused sales Account Manager to join them. This person will need to be based in or around London or the south of England and will be tasked with acting as company ambassador, visiting clients and prospects and ultimately driving growth and sales with a fair focus on Textiles and apparel. The ideal will candidate will:
     
    • Need experience in a sales and or business development role within the Promotional Merchandise Sector (ideally supplier side)
    • Need to have knowledge of Textiles of Apparel in relation to promotional products
    • Be comfortable travelling to meet clients and building strong lasting relationships built on understanding and expertise.
    • Be comfortable identifying and approaching new promotional merchandise distributors to drive growth
