A longstanding print and promotional merchandise business are looking for a Senior Account Director to help drive new business efforts and grow corporate accounts. Stable business, realistic expectations, and a progression plan to senior leadership on offer.

The Business

Established for over 25 years, this well-run and well-connected business offer print management services and promotional merchandise to a range of national and global clients in varied sectors including Sport, Professional services and retail (among others). Founded and managed by highly experienced industry veterans, the business continues to be a stable and profitable venture with strong potential for growth. Their down-to-earth team enjoy a collaborative work environment with very little micro-management and staff turnover is very low indeed. The Role

This is an important role within the business and one that that will offer progression opportunities to the most senior leadership positions in the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading new business strategy, attracting larger corporate accounts and managing and growing those accounts once on-boarded. The targets for this role are realistic and very much aimed at a long-term growth strategy rather than 'quick wins'. The ideal candidate will:

  • Need prior, Senior new business or account management expereince within the print or promotional merchandise sectors.
  • Have a strong track record for winning new corporate clients
  • Need expereince managing and growing high value client portfolios
  • Need to be comfortable managing a small sales team and have an interest in progression towards a senior business leadership role.

    The Role
     
    The company is keen to find an outgoing, relationship focused sales Account Manager to join them. This person will need to be based in or around London or the south of England and will be tasked with acting as company ambassador, visiting clients and prospects and ultimately driving growth and sales with a fair focus on Textiles and apparel. The ideal will candidate will:
     
    • Need experience in a sales and or business development role within the Promotional Merchandise Sector (ideally supplier side)
    • Need to have knowledge of Textiles of Apparel in relation to promotional products
    • Be comfortable travelling to meet clients and building strong lasting relationships built on understanding and expertise.
