This is an important role that will see the successful candidate working closely with far east based suppliers to ensure orders from the sales team can be completed as quickly and as cost effectively as possible. It's an ideal role for a junior buyer or purchasing professional looking for some extra responsibility. Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all orders run smoothly, according to client requirements
- Working closely with suppliers: Negotiating costs, overcoming time differences, and working to deadlines.
- Consistently working to source the best creative product ideas for clients
- Effectively update the sales team so clients are kept up-to-date with order progress
