The Role
  
Reporting directly to the Senior Management team, this important role will see the successful candidate taking ownership of business development efforts and working with the wider sales team to identify and secure new business. You’ll get to set strategy and have the backing to approach both large global corporate accounts and attractive up and coming SME’s. Ideal role for any business development professional in the sector who’s looking to join a highly stable, well backed business. Responsibilities include:
  
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities covering SMEs and global multi-nationals
  • Set a new business strategy built on research and personal understanding of the merchandise sector
  • Working in tandem with the wider sales account management team to present and pitch to new prospects
  • Ensure a smooth transition from New business to account management team during onboarding
  • Help to manage and mentor junior staff members while aiming to grow the new business team in the future.
