Content Executive - Surrey - up to £29,999 Bonus
2-3 days per week in Office (Access to a car essential)

We're recruiting for a Top 100 integrated agency that really look after their people...

They have been established for 20 years and regularly appear in the times top 100 small companies to work for. They are a certified b-corp and an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) - so they are literally 'all in it together' as owners.

The team is made up of 40 talented individuals across creative and client services and they have big ambitions to grow in line with a ten-year plan. The work is varied both in terms of discipline (full service) and sector, B2C and B2B. In this case you would be working on one of the world's largest logistics companies.

The role
Reporting into the Content Director, the successful candidate will join the Creative team to deliver stellar content strategies for a wide range of clients in sectors including logistics, education and technology. As a core department in the agency, Content works closely with the Creative, Digital and Client Services teams.

You'll be planning and producing content for digital platforms, emails, and print materials (such as brochures and flyers) and managing a number of social media platforms for our clients, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. You will have a passion for social media and will be adept at choosing the right platforms for the right clients and producing the right content to match.

The role heavily involves copywriting so we're looking for someone with a passion for words and the ability to turn their hand to writing everything from a tweet to a blog and an email to a video script.

You will be tasked with:

  • Content and campaign planning, from conceptualisation to execution.
  • Creation of content calendars with planned channels, dates and copy.
  • Support on content strategy, making recommendations to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Creating and scheduling content for our clients' social streams and digital platforms, including tweets, blog posts, Instagram posts, email copy, website copy, and video scripts - this involves extensive industry research so that we can position our clients as thought leaders and innovators in their sectors.
  • Creating content that is flexible, agile, on-brand and effective at telling our clients' stories.
  • Copywriting across a variety of mediums, including print and digital.
  • Directly managing agreed social media accounts and represent the team on client calls and emails.
  • Measuring and reporting on social media campaigns.
  • Proofreading content and identifying opportunities for improvement / restructure.

Desirable experience:
It would be helpful if you had:

  • A demonstrated interest in social media marketing, copywriting and creative communications, ideally with 2 years experience.
  • Excellent literacy, spelling and grammar.
  • A driven approach to project management and planning.
  • High attention to detail, which ensures accuracy in all communications.
  • You will be motivated, passionate and creative, willing to take on new challenges and always learn.

Your positive attitude, knowledge and expertise will enable you to quickly become a respected member of the team, able to direct, mentor and support where needed.
     
    You'll need:
     
    • A minimum of 7 years’ relevant creative agency experience
    • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting
    • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
    • Working knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent communication and an aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
    • Outstanding organisational and leadership skills
    • Experience advising clients at a senior level
     
    * Experience using the project management software SYNERGIST would be ideal.
