Job Description
Our client are a leading Legal 100 firm with a Tier-1 rated Banking & Finance team based in Surrey. We are now seeking an experienced Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor (1 PQE ) to handle a busy caseload helping with advice to all stakeholders in distressed situations including lenders; investors; corporate's; directors and individuals, in addition to acting for insolvency practitioners. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career with a highly respected firm often referred to as "Excellent" within the legal directories with exposure to international work.
This presents an opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to help develop the existing R&I specialism and fully immerse themselves in the market.
Requirements:
We would like to speak with individuals who can demonstrate a 2:1 (AAB) and have some experience of running transactional matters as day-to-day fee-earner. You will be technically strong and have a good understanding of what is required to develop a restructuring practice. You will be particularly BD savvy with a genuine appetite to contribute to marketing initiatives on a frequent basis in addition to billing.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail with an enthusiasm for the subject matter. You will be confident in absorbing large volumes of data and identifying the pertinent issues at stake. We are looking for an ability to work under pressure coupled with outstanding client delivery. Your oral and written work will be to a consistently high-level and you will feel confident in juggling multiple matters at any one time.

Clients:
You can expect to act for high-profile insolvency practitioners, lenders; and other stakeholders with exposure to administration business and asset sales; security reviews and enforcement, providing timely advice on distressed situations.
