The Challenge

A global company championing customs compliance have grown to $70M and 450 employees.

They always had a very basic focus on Marketing, with their existing team grown from interns. They were looking for a Marketing Leader who can work on the digital marketing and build this from scratch.

The Solution

With most of the company coming from an accountancy background, they needed a data driven individual with a track record of building marketing functions from scratch.

I started mapping out searches for “Head of Growth” and “Growth Marketing Managers” from start-ups that have a proven track record of building successful marketing functions.

 

The Result

The search was successful and after interviewing a number of candidates based throughout the UK and SA

We provided a shortlist of candidates that varied in seniority and skill.

The quality of candidates we provided,helped shape the role that they were looking to fill and dictated the strategy that the client subsequently pursued following the hire.

This has allowed them to grow as fast as possible shaping the strategy for the rest of the business.
