Contentious Probate Associate - Berkshire

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially-minded individual (NQ ) to join their Contentious Private Client team based in Berkshire. This contentious trusts team is a part of the wider dispute resolution team which is top-tier rated within the legal directories outside of London and represents an exciting step-up for the right person considering a career move.
The team frequently advise private banks; trust companies; and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of disputes including;
- Breach of trust and directions claims;
- Court of protection disputes;
- Challenges to will validity
- Executor claims
- 1975 Act claims;
- Professional Negligence
- Beneficiary disputes
- Asset tracing;
- Undue Influence matters.
We would like to speak with individuals who can demonstrate a consistently strong academic record and genuine appetite for business development. You will have trained with a recognised regional or city firm and have completed a minimum of one seat (6 months) within dispute resolution - preferably with some contentious probate exposure.
Core skills required: Clear Communication; Time management; Research/Analysis; Teamwork; Working under pressure; Client engagement; and, Business development.

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Employment Solicitor to join their team to handle a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will have trained with a regional or city firm gaining solid commercial acumen and some BD exposure - preferably.
The teams employment services include advising on employment contracts and policies, performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures and managing restructuring, redundancies and executive severance as well as ad-hoc, day to day support to employers. They also advise on all aspects of discrimination issues and regularly deal with Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
